چکیده
Background The central nervous system international prognostic index (CNS-IPI) is being used widely for the identification of patients with diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) a high risk (CNS) relapse. aim our study to confirm value CNS-IPI in predicting CNS relapse young population and evaluate its impact on selection prophylaxis. Methods We retrospectively reviewed diagnosed DLBCL who were treated rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, prednisone (RCHOP) regimen from January 2010 till December 2018. Correlation between cumulative incidence time was examined through Kaplan-Meier plots. Median median overall survival after also estimated using Results A total 354 included. age 46 years. Overall, 5% developed seven months. Two-year rates according 0.7%, 5.1%, 26% low, intermediate, high-risk, groups respectively. On multivariate analysis, poor performance status (p=0.045), involvement two or more extranodal sites (p= 0.021), bone marrow 0.029), renal adrenal glands 0.006) significantly correlated Considering high-risk anatomical (breast, uterus, testis, epidural space), would have needed Conclusion Although helps better prophylaxis, it can possibly increase number exposed unnecessary More investigational biomarkers are refining patients.

Primary Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma of Central Nervous System: Is Still Surgery an Unorthodox Treatment?
Primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL) is characterized as an extra-nodal non-Hodgkin lymphoma which develops from the neuraxis. The purpose was to report a case of a patient with a supra-tentorial tumor who underwent subtotal resection of his tumor as his biopsy was not indicative of a PCNSL tumor and had uneventful recovery until his last follow-up. A 42-year-old man was admitted to ...

متن کاملMYC Protein Expression in Primary Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma of the Central Nervous System
Primary diffuse large B-cell lymphoma of the central nervous system (CNS DLBCL) is a rare, aggressive subtype of DLBCL, the biology of which is poorly understood. Recent studies have suggested a prognostic role of MYC protein expression in systemic DLBCL, but little is known about the frequency and significance of MYC protein expression in CNS DLBCL. Hence, we investigated MYC protein expressio...

The authors describe a case of histiocyte-rich B-cell lymphoma (HR-BCL), a variant of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, in a 51-year-old man. The patient presented with large axillary lymphadenopathy. Histopathologic and immunohistochemical examination of lymph node biopsy revealed diffuse effacement of the lymph node architecture by reactive histiocytes and neoplastic CD20 positive B cells. ...
